FOCUS HERE
2026 Thesis

Interactive Installation & Print
Focus Here is a participatory installation investigating the relationship between attention and freedom. Its premise is simple: the quality of your attention directly shapes your felt sense of autonomy. When attention is intact, freedom is felt. When it fragments, freedom shrinks.

The work is built around a large-scale LED wall divided into three panels. The left tracks your eyes, hands, and body in real time.
The middle presents a world that coheres or dissolves depending on the quality of focus you bring to it. The right renders a body as geometry, filling with light when attention is sustained, fragmenting when it scatters.

The installation uses the same tools the attention economy uses against us and redirects them back to the person they came from. The audience does not observe the argument. They generate it.
